The winner of the men's competition for 2003 was George Hastings with a final time of 3:11.36. The final scoreboard shows all of the competitors and their final times. Final times can be impacted by penalty points assigned by the judges for oysters that were damaged or dirty. Therefore, the first to finish may not actually be the winner.
