"Shadow" is a 7 yr old black German Shepherd that's always by my side. People come to the store just to see him. He's a beautiful animal who is truely devoted to his owner. Oh Yes, the title of this photo will be familiar to only those senior people who listened to a certain radio show a long time ago.

The Mattawoman cuts through my backyard and Shadow oftentime watches the wildlife (deer,raccoon,fox,mallards,wood ducks,geese) from our fence about 50 feet from this photo. I feed 25# of shelled corn every day to attract the critters. Shadow will challenge any mammal that appears but he's content to simply watch the birds. Wonder where he learned that?
